The little bird is the worst because he keeps showing up no matter how many times I leave him to die, blackmail him or tell him to gently caress off.

I really think he's a Whitehill spy, setting you up for a massive fall, not working for Varys.

There's no real way the spy isn't the maester. He asks the badguy to maybe not completely shred your dude's arm off and instead of provoking him to do it he listens to the maester. That's like the single thing he even does this episode, like it was included just to remind you he exists. Also the mother acting suspicious *immediately* after you find out there is a spy is waaaaay too on the nose.

Would still like it if it were Duncan or Royland.

He's been acting slightly weirdly since literally the very first episode. When he's sewing up your arm and subtly pushes you for information on what Lord Forrester told you before he died. I'd go like 90% to be him and 10% to be the mother.

I forgot Rodrik just boinked the woman he blackmailed a few episodes back when making the choice. A possible alliance with her house or three gladiators with no armor and no discipline.. tough choice.

I'm pretty sure my Rodrik didn't blackmail her...

Also, my House Forrester could not be in a worse place at this point. I think everything is hosed far more that it could have been even in the limited choice the game gives you.

I don't care as long as the game/story is good. Tales of the Borderlands is fantastic, this is mediocre. I'm not sure they need to get their own IP, they probably sell a huge number of these games on licence recognition.

I actually quite enjoyed that. I guess going in knowing it ended on a cliffhanger in advance meant that I'd set my expectations right. But I think this was probably the best episode since the first.

Going in Asher was dead, and I played Roderick as roaring for revenge. It played out rather well. And Mira got executed and Ludd got seriously deaded, so that was fun. My main take away is that Roderick is basically unkillable though. Seriously, he must have taken more stab wounds than entire armies at this point.

Yeah, that bit was silly. But that entire plotline's gone nowhere all series.
