Pip-Pip old chap! Last one in is a rotten egg what what.

Could still be motor mounts shoving everything down the drivetrain. Start there work backwards through everything flexible. Even if that's not the point of cause you'll find something worth doing.

It's cold now so I'm not driving it and I still don't have a jack in ABQ so the clunk remains unsolved. I've wasted way too much time messing around on that Mazda the last few months.

It's warm now so I borrowed a nice jack and messed with it. Lubricated the rear u-joint and it seems to have helped a little. My wife now wants to drive the car to school, which is only a mile away or less, so we'll see if I can teach her to drive stick without getting a divorce.
