As a kid/teen i would paste ads and graphics from games on my wall. I would stare in disbelief at Aliens Vs Predator and desperately wanted an Atari Jaguar. My alcohol diluted memories are of the console being prohibitively expensive back in the day. But that price is so low! I know it cost me a lot more that that to buy the Jaguar as an adult wanting nostalgia and promptly putting it in a box with a Pippen never to be played again.

I sure did and by golly did I abuse my parents fax machine ($5 per fax) like 50 times in one weekend completely sure that I would win and when my parents got the bill I would claim "No need to buy me a Christmas Present!" I didn't win, and the bill came and they lost their poo poo seeing the charges but tried to dial the fax number and it didnt work - so I was off the hook

At the time Southpark came out - I didn't have it available to watch on TV. We didn't get SBS so no monday night episodes. I remember getting the Chef Aid CD from an aunt and loved it - had no idea about the show.

THen I saw a VHS of it at the local video store. It was my birthday, so I felt like a god presenting 3 tapes to all my friends who were staying for a sleepover party.

You can't see much of the fabulous decor, but let me assure you it was very Miami Vice. The entire apartment was done in tasteful shades of aqua, pink, white, and gold. I guess that's more 80s but that style lived long in Florida. We had an entire wall made of those tacky-rear end clear glass bricks.

I loved those glass bricks.

The Australian version 'TV Week' was something my grandmother bought all the drat time. One year in the 90s they decided to release a set of trading cards featuring such classics as Ren and Stimpty, Christina Applegate (Married with Children) and many more. I still have these cards, and can possibly find them in a junk cupboard along with my old baseball/basketball and Xmen cards if anyone is interested in seeing some.
