also he's been our best d-man this year so maybe it's time to accept that he'll make some defensive mistakes in return for logging a lot of icetime and being a good puckmoving offensive defenseman

toe knee hand posted:shots + missed shots + blocked shots = attempted shots = corsi can look at individual corsi or at on-ice-corsi (more popular) which is the combined corsi of everyone (on one team) on the ice at the time a player is on. and then you can look at corsi differential, which is like +/-, but for corsi. or at corsi% which is like corsi +/- except it's the percentage of corsi events, when a player is on the ice, that are for his team.
