She can hyper extend her knee. Probably doesn't know that's not normal. I can do the same thing. It's how I normally stand. It doesn't hurt.

My friend can do that with her knees and elbows and I keep telling her to get checked for Marfan Syndrome, since she also can do the Strindberg Sign and the Walker-Murdoch Sign (if you can do both of these it's like an 80 or 90% chance you have it iirc).

Ehlers-Danlos hypermobility type can also do this. I didn't realize I was hyperextending my knees until I commented that I don't think I ticked that particular box on the Beighton score (numerical score of hypermobility) and my husband pointed out that I do, please stop, I'm freaking him out. (In the process of being diagnosed with EDS, whattup, I bend and joints try to fall out.)

There are typically issues with one's heart with Marfan (I think EDS, too), so you can monitor and prevent some problems

It can drop you dead at basically any time, so get your electrocardiograms regularly. If they see problems developing there are available surgeries.

I thought some of the stuff the did with the controls in PT was alright, like forcing you to peer closely into stuff when you're in a very not safe feeling place,, like when I saw that I thought there was potential that they were gonna do something cool; but then they just go 'have some jumpscares and here's a baby thAT'S SPOOOKY LOOKING' and kinda ruin it

The spooky baby and the potential for jump scares (in moderation) all added to the scary atmosphere for me. The video posted earlier is certainly very creepy, but PT and Allison Road certainly freaked me out more.

I guess I just wanted more subtlety and for it to stay more mysterious, I still thought it was more successful at making an unsettling horror atmosphere than like any other game I've seen, and that it's probably really hard/impossible to make something a perfect experience when it has to still also be a sony playstation videogame, but just the pacing and mysteriousness of the house tour video had me hooked more Solice Kirsk posted:Looking up at the balcony in PT and seeing that tall thing actually made my hands shake a little bit. I don't think it's CG, there's some clever cuts where it loops and they turned the contrast up a bit. It looks like handycam footage to me.
