Maybe that person just got a leg cast removed and prioritized going to that shop over getting rid of weeks of old skin?
I at least hope that's the case.

They were using old school film cameras and high levels of radiation plays hell with film exposure.

Edit: NASA released an entire study on how they had to experiment with many different brands of film to find one that minimized the problem when shooting photos in space:
https://ston.jsc.nasa.gov/collections/trs/_techrep/TP-2000-210193.pdf

Since it's the person that's distorted, it's simply taken with a long exposure time. It's dark in there and they didn't exactly have the time to setup a lot of lights.
If radiation had been the problem, it would have fogged the whole film.

Intentionally sought out this thread because I figured you guys could help me find a video I saw years ago but can't remember the name of.

It was some handheld camera found footage clip of a bunch of British youths driving around out in the sticks trying to find their way off a road, and for whatever reason, they keep feeling like they're driving in circles. And then they think they've gotten off the road, only to find their car teleported to some drainage area and then the radio starts going bonkers and they're assaulted by a ghost of some kind and the video cuts off.

It was really well done and i'd love to be able to share that with people during the October Spooktacular festivities.

Is this it?

If I've found the right video, the narration makes it less creepy.
