About 10 years ago Car or Autosport did a special where they asked prominent designers to design their F1 car of the future. Gordon Murray's was basically a Wipeout 2097 thing and holy poo poo it owned.
I'm on my phone but I will try to find it later it must be floating around

I searched for this (I like the idea of a billionaire's mental no-limits racing car so much I might put it into my next book), but couldn't find it. I did, however, find a blog where someone suggested in all seriousness that Gordon Murray's design was a bit wimpy with only a gas turbine engine, and proposed replacing it with a nuclear reactor instead.

The article we were talking could well be ten years old by now and I only saw it in print.

To new people: the only way to enjoy this sport is to hail satan and hope for its destruction.
