I just found this podcast through this thread...this podcast is amazing! Edit: The documentary Tickled was insane. Does anyone know when the episode was recorded in relation to the documentary being filmed? SalTheBard fucked around with this message at 15:38 on Sep 18, 2017 |

I've listened to a lot of episodes of the Dollop over the last 5 days: Cliven Bundy Purity Balls Competitive Endurance Tickling (and then watched Tickled on HBO right after that) The Dolphin John Africa LAPD Saga Cassius Clay Newport Sex Scandal Lenny Dykstra Fans of Philadelphia Centralia, PA Action Park! The Iraq War Story of Atari Broderick Terry Duel Philadelphia Mayor Frank Rizzo Americas Worst Lottery Winner Norco Shootout Uber Caning of Sumner Are there any MUST LISTEN episodes that I haven't hit yet? Newport Sex Scandal was so hilarious, it's mind blowing that poo poo like that actually happened.

Awesome thank you! Rube, Jet Pack Madness and Dark Secrets of Swimming Pills are next on my list! I also really enjoy the episodes where a guy sounds almost mythical (Caning of Sumner and Broderick Terry Duel).

Straw Hat Riot - Amazing Hugh Glass - Holy poo poo what a bad rear end Worst VP Ever, Richard Johnson - Eh Boxer Tim "Doc" Anderson - So sad Actor Rivalry - I was almost pissing myself I was laughing so hard The Cereal Men - I couldn't get into this one (although I laughed really hard at the Graham Cracker reveal) Stagecoach Mary - Really interesting. For some reason I had always thought she robbed Stagecoaches The History of Bowling in the United States - I never thought Bowling could be entertaining but Dave and Gareth know the crazy poo poo I love Thank you all so much for the recommendations! The Dollop has replaced just about every other media I used to consume because I enjoy listening and laughing so much.

Airship of 1896 was pretty nuts. I also really enjoyed Pendragon if nothing else for hearing about the dumbest criminal in the world.

I really enjoy this podcast a ton. I'm glad I finally found it, and it was totally on accident too because the first episode I listened to was the one about Killdozer (that was one of the ones that got hidden). What was the resolution to that? Was there anything that happened or did Dave just start listing his sources better?

Episode 232 - Breaking Glenn Burke was the first episode that ever invoked a real visceral response for me. I was crying by the end of the show. I wish Glenn could've been the openly gay, loving awesome baseball player he was always meant to be.

Ariong posted:My favorite moment across this whole podcast is 1:19:30 into The Cereal Men (46) where Gary has this incredible moment of realization about the larger role this guy plays in American history. What episodes have similarly dramatic revelations by one of the hosts? I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I always like when Gareth has those revelations.

All the recommended episodes are awesome, but really what I suggest is listen to ones you think sound interesting and go from there. There are very few outright bad episodes. The one that I loving love is "247 - The Falling Pilot." I was so compelled by that episode that I sat in my car for 15 minutes just to finish it.
