You've been waiting in the cold for hours, huddled outside the doors of your local StoreMart. The press of humanity does have the added benefit of warming you such that you've taken off your scarf. Better anyway, since that's just going to be a hazard once the doors open. You've eyed the people directly around you, for they will be your first obstacle. There's a young couple sharing a thermos of hot chocolate, no threat. A group of young 20 year olds, potentially dangerous since they are in a pack, but you know they'll turn on each other first. The real threat is the 38 year old mother directly to your left. She is petite and looks harmless, but you notice her running shoes, her sleek clothing and pulled back hair. There is not a single part of her that is going to get snagged in the impending human wave. She is poised and ready to go. An employee on a bullhorn is standing at the front of the crowd, trying to maintain order. He is reading some corporate drivel about maintaining order and something about wristbands? It doesn't matter because you are already focused, your mind has reached a state of clarity. You hear someone's watch beep indicating midnight, it's time to roll.  You see someone ahead of you grab a toy from one of the displays near the door. You scoff. Everyone knows that anything within 50 feet of the door will be damaged beyond repair. What an amateur, you think as you run by. Poque, A toy that's broken before it even leaves the store, town-aligned plot device, was purchased N0 It is now Day 1.

In case you missed it in the OP, please note the deadline. Days are going to be as close to 48 hours as possible, rounded either up or down to the nearest hour. Kinda experimental, but we'll see how it works for a small game like this.
