I get the grizzlies on local broadcast and they are the best team in the league ATM, but I cannot stand to watch their games.

I just read Zach Lowe's column about fixing the NBA playoffs, specifically about fixing the gulf between the East and West. Is it possible that the NBA change the playoff system midseason? My instinct is to say hell no, but they sure as hell tried to change the draft mid-stride.

Expand league to 42 teams. Everyone plays a home-away series. Take top X teams to playoffs. Done.
