Oh please, the life and adventures of santa claus is far crazier than year without a santa claus. I mean, sure, year has the miser brothers and their mom, Mother Nature, but the life and adventures opens with a fuckin court ceremony welcoming all the immortals of the world to hold a hearing on whether or not santa should die or should be made immortal.

I always took the moral from rudolph's shiny new year to be "hey they're not making fun of you, they just can't help chuckling because they feel happy when they see your weird, hosed up ears, nobody actually dislikes you or anything"
