Honestly, if you haven't heard all of the last year or so just start with the newest ones and work your way bckwards. Ever since Cabin left and it's the same three core guys every week the show has just gotten better and better.

If you still want episodes recommended, here are some good ones off the top of my head while looking at the episode list

Mortal Kombat
Secret Window
Three Men And a Baby
Face/Off
My Best Friend's Wedding
Bill & Ted
Super Mario Bros.
Planet Of The Apes
Invisible Child
Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life
Space Jam
Devil's Advocate
Brainscan

Also yes, Mrs. Doubtfire and Blame It On Rio are indeed top shelf WHM.

After a while you'll notice which of their dumb impressions / invented characters crack you up the most and you can just sort through the episodes looking for ones where those are likely to show up. Or do it like me and listen to the whole back catalog while playing NBA 2K in like a month.

No wait, don't do that.

I'm skipping Jupiter Ascending because even tho it wasn't great I wanted to like it, and I can't stand people mocking ambitious weird sci-fi. And if they mock Speed Racer or Sense8 I might stop listening.
They've praised Speed Racer for its compatibility with tall glasses of water numerous times. Also it's easily the most fun thing the Wachowskis have been involved with since the first Matrix.

I thought "sauce only" referred to crust + tomato sauce. My buddy used to eat that all the time and it's what comes up if you google the term.

That sounds like a great idea that would be right in their 90s sweet spot.

I haven't seen it since it came out and 10-year old me laughed his rear end off in the theater, all I remember is the scene where he throws bricks at them from the roof.

I wonder if they'll cover Dead Or Alive, starring a bunch of nobodies, including another Australian pop/soap star - Holly Valance.

It's really bad. It gets thrown around a lot, but it is one of the few movies I've seen that features honest-to-goodness porno level acting.

I think the entire thing is on youtube.
lol I thought you were talking about the Miike movie for a second.

I barely remember the one you linked but from what I remember it's mostly random fights once they make it to the island, which is about all I want in my dumb fighting game adaptation. Also Cory Yuen is pretty reliable when it comes to directing ridiculous action and the cast is mostly hot ladies. I'm not ever gonna rewatch any of these but I remember liking it about on par with MK and more than Street Fighter.

Would be neat to see them complete the trilogy of 90s beat 'em up franchises though.

Amadeus is bad but watching Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls thirty times is completely normal
I've never seen Amadeus but yeah, I'm pretty sure I've seen When Nature Calls roughly two dozen times as well. Having been 12 years old and a huge Carrey fan when it came out helps, so does the thing Andrew mentioned where most people just didn't have that many tapes at the time and thus watched the same poo poo over and over.

Terminator 2 is an example of something I'll rewatch every few years but about half my total viewings come from one week where me and my siblings were on holiday at my aunt's place and it rained a lot.

DOA is from 2006. We were meant to have known better.
Why? It was released a year after the lovely Doom movie.

Also lol, appearantly it got like the 4th highest score on RT when it comes to video game adaptations.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_based_on_video_games

Some RT Review posted:

Praise be to director Corey Yuen for delivering one of the year's purest entertainments -- the best butt-kicking PG-13 bikini jiggle fest since the first Charlie's Angels flick.

Some RT Review posted:

The film's pretty much nonstop fighting, mostly in very little clothing, with the flair you expect from a master choreographer like Yuen.
What more do you really want from a DoA adaptation? You know, the franchise that once released a beach volleyball game built entirely around revolutionary advances in boob jiggling mechanics. At least they got the tone right and went to the trouble of hiring a veteran HK director / action choreographer.

Sounds like a movie that Martin Skinemax should review.
I don't know, I'd think a movie this agressively PG-13 might just enrage him.

Although I'd love to hear his thoughts on this shot:

Like I said, it's by no means a good movie but as an adaptation of the source material it kind of accomplishes what it sets out to do and is miles above an all-around mess like Street Fighter.

Yeah, but none of it comes across as intentional. I can laugh at Wahlberg's dumb line readings or endless menacing shots of trees and bushes rustling in the wind as much as the next guy but that doesn't make it cleverly directed or a movie that's not meant to be taken seriously. Because the tone of the thing is still as super serious as in all his other movies.

All those 90s Hogan movies have aged hilariously poorly. Like, post-They Live Roddy Piper made lovely DTV stuff throughout the 90s but it's indistinguishable from anything else you ever browsed past at the video store. Hogan's stuff is on a whole other plane of weirdness though, especially his early-90s stuff that's aimed at kids.

It doesn't help that he's lovely enough as an actor that sometimes, when he actually has to talk someone, the director just gives up and they show the whole scene from Hogan's POV (with the other actor in the frame) and Hogan's grunted lines coming in from offscreen. I definitely remember stuff like this in No Holds Barred at least.
