I was really enjoying the Avengers episode since they literally don't talk about the movie at all and I really liked the random tangents they went on and then feetle came up and I think I popped a rib out from laughing.

This is one of those movies where I have to keep Eric Szyszka's immortal words in my head: "It's okay to like a movie."

Yeah I enjoyed Venom but absolutely loved their episode of it. "logan paul innocently dabbing in the suicide forest" is an all time great line. Plus all the Alex Jones jokes.

Last one I heard with her was wonder woman 1984. She came off as kinda mean and pissed off during that episode, I found it off-putting. I liked her in the species episodes so maybe she was having an off day

They actually kind of address that at the beginning of this episode.

I will say she is great in the Wild Things episode and out of all her episodes she really fit in the best here.

That’s always my jam with these guys: I need that exasperated hate for a truly bad movie. WLM is usually duds for me, but I’ll give some of these upcoming ones a chance.

It's a great episode except for the part where they read that awful poetry the author did and it's so creepy and cringy that it causes me physical pain

I rewatched it on HBO before listening to the episode. It's...okay. Not great. If you know the twist already, it's not really worth watching.

Like they say in the episode, it has the ideas but the execution isn't there and it almost could've been a WLM but it's missing something.

I randomly watched it a few months ago and apparently wasn't paying attention at all since I completely missed the whole "furniture" thing. So yeah I would say you don't really need to see it since the only reason anyone even talks about the movie anymore is the ending.

Sorta felt like that True Lies ep was riding the line of being a WHM/WLM by the end of it. The last half of that movie definitely drags but I think they went into it expecting to love it again and talked themselves out of it while doing the discussion.

My wife and I did a rewatch of true lies earlier this year and honestly we were kind of in the same boat. We both had seen it when we were younger and really liked it but it really is wayyyy too long. It has some really great set pieces but does drag a bit in spots.
