Oh gently caress, there's a thread for this?! :monocle:

This is literally the only podcast I listen to, and it's flipping great. Welp, time to read all the funny comments.

I really really dig when they have characters work most of the episode. Favorites are Mark Wahlberg (oh sick, bro!), Larry the Cable Guy (aw, kewl!) and Wilford Brimley (gawddammuht).

Mark Wahlberg going off on boston things, and PB&J is never not funny. I could listen to the first 20 minutes of the Planet of the Apes episode and always crack up.

Wait what? Where are you guys getting ads in the middle of your podcasts? I download them direct at whmpodcast and they're always in the front and easy to skip.

Because they're funny, and might actually inspire me to watch movies.

Hell, I listened to Opie and Anthony for so long that when I finally watched Fargo and King of Comedy, I laughed so hard at the references I recognized :kiddo:

Admittedly, I am weird.

Frustratingly, I can't find whoever the hell says "Theener"

Looking for a video clip of it. Can anyone help?

Are you saying it's in the trailer? I didn't check the trailers--I was specifically looking for a scene.

Like when they mentioned one interesting scene in the blind samurai movie I was able to look it up.

He sounds so different here that I wouldn't have known it was him if I just caught this on the air.

I think he puts on his radio voice, and also is normally having a beer, when he's going through WHM

Which episode(s) has the most use of Steve doing that fat high pitched nerdy kid? It's one of my favorite characters/voices.

I can't fathom a movie making anyone angry

One of the few times I actually yelled at a movie was watching Bangkok Dangerous, the lovely ending followed by the sudden credits made me scream "WHAT?!", and I never do that.

Mainly because it was in the theaters so the fact that I paid for it came back to me like a kick in the nuts. I was so bothered.

What was the ending?

A major premise is Nic Cage teaching some street-rat local kid about his business and what he does (being a hired killer). After a huge climactic gun fight, Nic Cage gets in backseat of a car with his target, aims the gun to his own head and kills both himself and the target. It gets all slow and trite with sad, weird music as everyone looks on in the aftermath in the factory this took place, but then as a separate scene, in a different time on some docks (but in the same slow, wordless tempo), a camera on a boat focuses on the local kid, looking sad and angry for like 10 seconds.

And then...credits.

It resolved nothing and it was so out of place with the rest of the movie.
