Craigslist is a wonderous place filled with fantastic deals on vintage equipment, horrible junk nobody wants, and the occasional Nigerian scammer. Post your terrible/amazing gadget, A/V or electronics Craigslist finds here, whether :fap: or :stare:.

Some ground rules:

  • Post a screenshot with your link. Craigslist posts can be gone in minutes, and nobody wants a thread full of 404's.
  • Explain whether a post is amazing or terrible or hilarious or whatever, and give a reason why if it's not immediately obvious.
  • I shouldn't have to say this, but don't advertise your Craigslist post here. We will make fun of you, and the mods will probably do bad things to your account.

Goddamn, I wish I had the money for these right now. Klipsch actually still makes these speakers. And they're still awesome.

These are legitimately a fantastic deal. If I didn't already have a pair of those exact headphones, I would be buying them.

The speaker grilles have seen better days, but I can't pass these up for $20.

Should be perfect for working out in my basement. Hope someone else hasn't beat me to them.

Edit: And of course, the comedy posting:

Maybe this should go in the audiophile thread instead. :wtc:

Double Edit:

Well, this is uncanny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjkQk0e8zzg

Still debating picking them up just for the woofers and cabinets and just putting Dayton midranges and tweeters in em....

Triple Edit:

Talked him down to :10bux:. Worth it, if only to piss my wife off.

He ended up just giving them to me for free. :haw:

Have to wait until I get home to hear how horrible they sound.

Sony speakers are the worst but the price was right!

In case you're wondering, they sound exactly how you'd expect a pair of speakers repaired with toilet paper and nail polish to sound. :v:

I'm still undecided on whether to replace the tweeters and midranges and use them. The cabinets are in rough shape. Probably not worth spending real money on Dayton drivers, but I might grab some cheap ebay ones....
