I ran the Ad-Nauseum extension for awhile on Chrome, and had all the tracking bullshit turned on for Google; instead of just blocking ads, that extension clicks on every ad it blocks. They had me pegged at the wrong age, and interested in random poo poo like country music and parenting (I hate country and have no kids). Google banned it from their store, you had to install it in developer mode, but I don't think it works with newer versions of Chrome (the ones that disabled most ad-blocking extensions).

So, now, liking waffle fries is correlated with being highly educated, which in a data analysis sense is true, even though the two have nothing to do with each other.

Facebook Aunt posted:Okay but isn't whiskey usually brown or yellow? Something to do with barrels or something? And that beverage is a very clear pink. Like the pink was added to a colourless beverage, not a brown one. A pink vodka would be fine, but a pink whisky is shenanigans. There are white whiskeys that haven't been aged as long and/or not in wooden barrels. Also, that Lady Jack "whiskey" is only 40 proof (most whiskeys are 80-160), so there are some sort of other shenanigans going on with it.

Thomamelas posted:Generally code enforcement is civil until your gently caress up kills someone. Then it may still be civil. The AHJ for this can vary a bit. I know the Office of the State Fire Marshall does some code enforcement in CA. I imagine local code enforcement departments might review it during permitting. It's also possible the University system is exempted but I doubt it's likely. So the local building code office and the Fire Marshall is your best bet. I was thinking less of a code enforcement perspective, and more of a "responsible use of public funds" perspective.

They want to make people reliant on these services, so they can push through policies like Prop 22 in California. Once they fundamentally undermine labor law, that's where the big money is.
