Looks like another 0fer after a multi-goal PP last game. Another nice save from Luongo though.

Man, marginal 3rd liners absolutely fuckin' love coming to Pittsburgh. And once they've padded their stats they loving signing in New York.

What I'm saying is look forward to overpaying for Downie and Comeau next year, Rangers. The cycle must continue.

Looking forward to the Blues inability to score on the PP biting them in the rear end.

The Rangers can play good hockey, solid in all areas, and then just completely blow it with brain farts and the other team always scores. Lundqvist just hasn't been that good this year, McDonagh went from playing Norris caliber defense last year to being inconsistent as hell as well and trying to do too much, Staal is up and down and Boyle is...alright but not really settled in. The forwards are the real culprits in my mind because they haven't been consistent helping out defensively

Yeah, I came into this season thinking he would be trade-bait at the deadline, but the way he's playing, at his salary, I'd be happy to keep him.

Especially if we deal Staal at the deadline.

that's the loving thing though, if they just played like poo poo all the time that'd be one thing but instead they play real good hockey a lot and then poo poo all over themselves and wallow around in it at other times holy gently caress it's frustrating as hell just find some goddamn consistency

Specifically, besides the "not stopping the puck" what did Fleury not do there? Off his angle? Drop too soon? Tell me in your estimation he could have done besides yell at his Defensemen for not clearing space so he could see anything.

Step out. He's a small goalie and he was so deep in his net. That puck is what 12 inches off the ice? Flower doing the splits on a point shot. In my estimation he needs to step out and cut the angle down.

honestly dumoulin had some bad turnovers that are the reasons it even went to OT so whatever

i can't really be mad at him either because this is like dumoulin's 10th nhl game ever. with all the injuries i figure we're a malkin or crosby injury from just handing out free wins so i'll take an OTL point over nothing
