I came into this show wanting to like it (fan of this period in history) and I was totally with it right up to the scene where a completely nude courtesan kills three armored soldiers with a taint-flashing roundoff and a hairpin. That's the point where I first realized, "Oh! This is a stupid show. If I continue to watch it I should expect more stupid things to occur." I should have been tipped off by the Matrix-style kung-fu training scenes.
