I kinda prefer the ones where it's not an obvious [thing]mon name. A bit of corruption or stylization is nice. Maybe it's just me, but "Halsemon" sounds better than "Horusmon". Maybe because the 'us' in horus is such a hard stop, it makes the transition into -mon more awkward?

I don't even know if Ygdrasil has a plan, per se. I think we might just be dealing with someone thoughtlessly pursuing chaos and destruction at any cost in the same way that Homeostasis is pursuing order and harmony at any cost. The DigiDestined are sitting in the middle, telling both sides to shut the gently caress up. Basically what I'm saying is that Tri is a Shin Megami Tensei game.

It was kind of grim, but "put Meicoomon down like a rabid dog" made perfect sense before she protected Meiko. Instead they only even considered it once three quarters of their fighting strength was taken out, and then Meiko went running out into an active battlefront anyways. Like I said, really not doing her any favors as a character that's supposed to be on par with our Favorite Eight.

Yes, but consider: They are the only kids who saw that fight, as far as we know and, again, as far as we know, they were the only kids at that summer camp. Why wasn't Izzy/Koshiro at Science Camp? Why wasn't Joe/Jou at cram school? It's all very contrived, except they establish from the beginning, it's not contrived, it's ~*~*~Destiny~*~*~ And if there's an entity that can manipulate events to that degree across the barrier between worlds, then claiming it's any different from Destiny or Divine Intervention is being incredibly pedantic. (I'll agree that "DigiDestined" doesn't really fit the Appli protags, though.)
