Why is there a Fire Emblem game scheduled? The last one was a catastrophe, and as a fan of the series, FE games have to be some of the most uninteresting speedruns in the world to actually watch, even if the planning behind them can be interesting if you know the games.

It's not the same FE game but all of them are equally boring to watch someone else play, especially in video format, for three hours, going through every menu as fast as humanly possible. The last one was a catastrophe for reasons that apply to every FE game, any way. 90% random chance and 10% doing the same things over and over to manipulate that random chance.

The FE8 run is more uncomfortable than anything. The dude just seems so apologetic and sad by the end, and not in a funny way.

The Fire Emblem games strike me as just about the worst RPG out there for an interesting speedrun. I'm sure it can be done well, it just can't be done repeatedly and on demand like is necessary for a marathon.
