Yuri Kuma Arashi (Lilly Bear Storm) is the newest series written and directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara of Sailor Moon, Revoloutionary Girl Utena and Penguindrum fame, with character designs by Akiko Morishima who is mostly known for doing the fluffiest of yuri fluff. Show starts on Jan 5th and Funimation has picked up the streaming rights for the US, CR are streaming it elsewhere, apart from the UK and Ireland. Warning possible  fan-service or possibly just a concept artist with a panty fetish, who can say!Fan service update! I don't recall Silver Link ever having budgeting problems. This is just such a fantastic premise. At best, Ikuhara blows everyone away with a fantastic story. At worst, it's cute, hilariously absurd yuri.

Yeah, I am also down for some concentrated Ikuhara. I honestly couldn't follow Penguindrum's plot past episode ~15 or so, but I appreciated the trippiness none the less.

I love Utena and wouldn't change anything about it (apart from that horrible late 90's CGI) but the amount of plot relevant episodes vs. weird poo poo just for the hell of it was relatively small.
