Man, I really need to play this again. I also wish more games these days did the hybrid stuff, I'd love a mixture of Megaman and a shmup in once.

It was really hard. Like Nintendo hard, hard. It is one of my most beloved games along with Actraiser (the first one) because it merges two styles of games and has one influence the other, which is so beautiful and not seen a lot, even today. And if they do have it, it usually isn't very satisfactory.
