poo poo, back before money got tight we would get flyovers for football games or the noon meal formation pretty regularly. Like you said, usually just planes deviating a few miles on their way somewhere else. For Army/Navy, or when the Generals in town for Corona, poo poo got crazy. Most of that got turned off around '05 though.

We had flyovers at a lot of Virginia Tech games. I only remember boring C17s(because I was blacked out by noon for games) but I want to say there was one b-1 flyover.

In Iraq we got an F-18 to buzz us once and Cobras to practice gun runs on. That was cool.

What's the success rate on that thing making it through customs from China?

probably pretty good since they actually inspect an infinitesimal amount of container traffic

It's just a loving shame that it is immediately connected with building the bomb.

I can't help but think that if the mud hut peoples could wean themselves off selling oil by using nuclear power it would undermine a huge rhetoric we use in the first world, and that is the real reason we crap on about them using it.

Not the whole beardie people with the bomb thing.

How would the use of nuclear power in Iran dissuade Iran from selling oil? Increased use of nuclear power in oil importing countries might have that effect(through a decrease in demand) but not the other way around.

Nuclear power in Iran might decrease oil demand in Iran and/or lower the costs of production of oil in Iran but it probably wouldn't cause them to 'wean themselves off the sale of oil'.

partly replace. kind of a semantic argument, at its heart. a saw is a lmg but used as an automatic rifle. the two terms may be synonymous depending on who you ask.

still saws in the rifle platoon but now also m27s.
