Well, I'm a newbie, and I've made some mistakes, but I think I've tried to redeem myself the best I can. Some people have given me good comments and told me to post here. Hopefully my journey of newbie regret ends here! I'm running a weekly comedy series featuring a Grim Reaper who answers viewer Q&As. He's bumbling, idiotic, and has a habit of never getting to an answer. 2-3 minutes in length each. The latest episode has the Reaper discovering a storage locker with a valuable mint-condition Stretch Monster which he takes to represent his hopes and dreams -- but a completely unrealistic bidder comes in to show the Reaper why he should avoid hopes and dreams: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_gBKRlUVII The Christmas special was the Reaper being forced (contractually obligated) to do a music video, in this case, a metal version of Let It Snow! Happy to click your links, OP, but right now I am watching Castaway for the first time. Have you seen it? I think it's probably more exciting than your videos. This isn't a dig against your videos but do you have a Hollywood budget and Tom Hanks? i watched them and compared to the "content" we generally see around here i was pleasantly surprised. i mean he didn't catch himself on fire or swirlie himself, but come on guys he's a newbie. let him work up to that welcome to the yob friend

I've learned a lot of valuable lesson, I will be back with something FUNNY eventually, but I'll probably concentrate with the videos. Thanks to everybody that watched and gave comments! It makes some complicated shots, I have the script, a bunch of highlighters, and film it all in bulk and then cut it up. This newest episode is the first one where I actually dubbed the Reaper's line, earlier episodes it was hard to understand him because of the mask, which makes it a bit more complex. I've had other actors, but those are almost always remotes. |

I really liked the videos OP! Me and my school chums are always looking for older father figure type people to connect deeply on a comedy level with. It's good to know we can cross these generation gaps and I really wish you were my drama teacher instead of the guy we have at my school.
