Does this game have many enemies that can survive even halfway through the combo? Or do they wait until you're done and then drop dead?

Soon we'll learn the game was conceived as The Royal Family of Persia, featured three dozen nieces, and was supposed to be a Lemmings clone. The thick carpets were a safety cushion for long falls, and could also be used to slow characters down.
