I just started a seasonal job working on the grounds for one of Denver's golf courses. One of the perks is that I get to play for free on any of the city's nine golf courses, but I've never ever played before (I was on a driving range once and swung at balls in like...2000 or so when I was 13). I've asked my housemate who does play to show me how if he ever wants to check out the course in Evergreen. What am I about to get myself into?

I saw a golfer hit a hole-in-one on Friday morning while I was filling divots in the adjacent tee box. It's pretty cool to see that happen.
