I am going to miss this show. :smith: It is pretty much my favorite comedy ever by now. :smith:

Season 6 was a lot better on a rewatch than week-to-week, and while there is indeed a dip in quality I still think it's excellent television. Seven seasons is enough though and if it's anything like 30Rock's last we are in for a treat.

One of my favorite things is still Nefertiti's Fjord. I can't really explain why either. It always gets me.

Who's the girl they brought back? She looks familiar but I don't remember who she is.
She 's Lucy, introduced as the ~hot bartender GF~ when tom just broke up with Wendy.
Tom bought a ton of girls drinks at the Snakehole hoping for a date/kiss/etc and when he went to pay the tab they joked around, he asked her out.
They broke up when Tom was obviously jealous of Ron+Wendy. Jean-Ralphio invited her to the E720 bankruptcy party (unknowing she was Tom's ex) and they reconnected, but she was moving out of town.

Leslie is a jerk at times imo, an unintentional well meaning one. But still a jerk.

By the way, it is ridiculous that marijuana is illegal. It grows in the ground! :corsair:
That one former stoner parks director in the season 2 episode was great.

I like how Ron is always PRO freedom, but so anti-hippies he still hates pot. :v:

Both mark and early s3 Ben+chris (when he didnt show his fun side as leslie would say) would be too much but outside of that mark was fine.

This season is laááckiiÍng a saperstein though so far.

No, I mean she left Chris to run away with Mark. They're squatting in Donna's Denver condo.
Wasn't that in Seattle?
Donna probably owns twoonly one condo.

Shame it got cancelled, because by the second half of s1 it found it's thing and it just kept on trucking.

Adding another vote to 30Rock as well.

No mention for Scrubs? One of the greatest and has some of that unabashed optimism of later seasons of parks.
I love scrubs (well s7 is the season even I find terrible) but it has a relative big amount of serious/drama stuff in it compared to the other mentions.

We don't need Zachary Knighton. Elisha Cuthbert would be missed but they could make due with a life size cardboard cutout of her that keeps falling on things and accidentally forcing the plot forward. The rest are vital.

I found Season 6 to be more palatable when marathoning. The recall plot doesn't seem to drag as much when you're not waiting week to week.

Merauder posted:

Season 6 was mostly unremarkable, but the finale of S6 was incredible. The Unity Concert was goddamn perfect.
In my eyes this sums it up pretty well, Season 6 when you can just watch at your own pace isn't exceptional in quality but still solid and the finale is great.
S6 parks still puts a lot of shows to shame in quality.
