In the red corner is Tollymain, playing Alexian XXXVII, the hero-king of Jeffreys. In the blue corner we have Poison Mushroom, playing the dragon hunter, Joal Kalmor. Can Joal's versatile selection of attacks overcome the swolest fighter in Devastation? There's only one way to find out! Players, choose your starting discards and Finisher. Joal must also choose his Stockpile.

Chivalry: 1 Alexian has 0 priority. Joal has 1 priority. Joal is the active player! Joal retreats 1 space. Alexian retreats one space. At range 4, Joal hits. He does no damage because Alexian has Soak 3. Alexian cannot use Before Activating effects this beat. At range 4, Alexian misses. Joal retrieves Ironstar from his stockpile. Apologies for the blurriness, Joal's sprites on the Google Drive are 2/3 the resolution of Alexian's for some reason. If anyone wants to give me some pointers on how to run this thing, I'm all ears. Okay, I figured out how I caused the resolution thing. It should be okay for now. Dire Wombat fucked around with this message at 23:48 on Jan 17, 2015 |

Where will Poison move Alexian? This move strikes me as a poor choice because none of PM's remaining bases can hit at 3 range. The winning move here would have been Warded Hand Cannon, anteing all Chivalry to deal 7 damage and stun Alexian whether he picked Stalwart or Steeled. If he used a Strike he would miss due to Hand Cannon's effect. Stalwart Shot would have traded 7 for 7, though.

Joal still has drive. Pull Alexian 2, drive in. 4 for 5 isn't an awful trade.
