E- Seriously, how do you not keep track of the time? You have a golden opportunity on that final restart gift-wrapped and it's lost because somebody didn't math gud. Manage it better or get a fourth loving driver next year.

That was pretty dumb.

I liked both Group A and B, the former for the badass general production cars it created and the latter for the batshit insane mid-engined hatchbacks. It kinda sucks Group B road cars never took off.

Most of the Celica 4wd Turbos (GT4s elsewhere) have been thrashed. We never got the Group A Lancer Evo, Earlier Impreza WRX/STi, and much less anything European that competed. I loved the Lancers especially.

I'd support a Silhouette formula if there was a limited production stipulation ~50 cars.

Considering Volvo are dumping Polestar and probably going to abandon V8 Supercars as well...Apparently racing cars aren't 'The Volvo thing' to do according to their Chairman.

Uhhhh, right. The Volvo thing now is to become increasingly irrelevant when compared with German brands.

It's nothing similar - AWD was already known to work (tractor style 4x4 rallycross cars had been laying into RWD rallycross for years even without the benefit of a true center differential, what Audi had was considerably up the technology chain), only Escort / Mantra driving idiots thought AWD was crazy. The Audi's turned up and immediatly dominated when they didnt break.

Nissan are asking the FWD system to do more than can be handled, in car layout long known to be inferior (mid engine IS the best for race cars) and is slower than conventional designs.

I could see Nissan reverting to a conventional setup (I.E. MR/M4) eventually. It could also neatly tie in to the next GT-R, which is rumoured to be going MR. I kinda agree that the Front-Engined concept is probably a dead end.

I love GTO, the normal Audi 80/90 was a miserable, lame-rear end E30/W201/Alfa 75 rival but the GTO variant was so loving cool.

Yeah I'm reading a lot of comments stating Nissan should stay out of sports car racing because they are out to lunch, seemingly ignoring that they are pretty successful LMP2.
