I'm debating using my holiday this year to go and watch England get splattered across South Africa. It's annoying that match dates don't seem to have been announced yet, but I reckon I can get a couple of Tests in (maybe including the Boxing Day Test).

The SL/SA test has started out well at least.

Glad to see some real cricket, by which I mean the 2019 Pakistan Super League, starting this week, phwoar.

Sri Lanka did surprisingly well on day 1.

edit: Stokes the only English batsman to average above 30 for that West Indies series. http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/averages/batting_bowling_by_team.html?id=12638;team=1;type=series

sadly they semi-collapsed for 190 though they seem to be bowling well on day 2. Good to see the FC Sri Lanka bowlers doing well, haven't heard until recently how hosed up SL first class cricket is right now, with way too many teams and spin-friendly pitches which make it almost impossible to get overs as a seamer and gently caress up selecting because everyone ends up with double tons.

AB de Villiers is going to bring the HBL Pakistan Super League home to the Lahore Qalanders, folks.

The IPL is way too commercialized and the BBL just sucks rear end this year, but I always think the PSL and CPL are good watches for T20 leagues imo. The Bangladesh league was good this year too especially the hilarity of them getting a lot of good players because of the BBL's salary cap rules.
