Holy poo poo, what great news to wake up to. Well done the Lankan lads.

Reminder that in his last test Perera was knocked loopy in the first innings and retired hurt, then was out first ball in the second innings.

Now he goes beast mode to beat the South Africans in South Africa, smacking Steyn and Rabada around to do it. What a legend. Like Lara in 1999. http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/...-indies-1998-99

BBL is good, but it is far too long. Get it finished around 20 Jan I feel. Have some fun cricket in the evenings during the summer break. But once everyone is back to work start wrapping it up

the random rear end Pakistan Super League game i watched had Misbah-Ul-Haq score 49 despite being a hundred years old so that's already more exciting than anything in Big Bash League 08

Misbah Ul-Haq rules.

I am still annoyed at Brendan McCullum for beating his fastest test century record.

The answer is, mate, because I want to do you slowly. There has to be a bit of sport in this for all of us. In the psychological battle stakes, we are stripped down and ready to go. I want to see those ashen-faced performances; I want more of them. I want to be encouraged. I want to see you squirm.

Same except MiJo after that Ashes series where he ripped through England

Also lol that I left Australia six weeks ago and the loving Big Bash is still going in mid February

Next season the BBL should run until at least Easter, have 3 or 4 more teams, matches consisting of 2 10 over innings and 30% more explosions.

I'm an England fan and Ryan Harris is my favourite Aussie bowler since warne.

He actually bowled a delivery I could only dream off.

He turned the ball 90° so that the seem was along the knuckles instead of between the fingers, and when he bowled it he imparted a bit of back spin so that when it pitched it stood-up on the batsman.

Showed that despite bowling express, he was also trying to out think the opposition.

Ryan Harris and Shane Bond are the two bowlers I'm sad we didn't get to see more of.

Isn't this just cross-seam bowling? Fast bowlers have done this for ages.

Southee does it a bit, Wagner too. But anyway, Ryan Harris was really cool and good and so was that Sri Lankan win.
