I'm seeing Eng v NZ in the pool matches and the Wellington quarter-final. I loving hate limited over cricket, and the Wellington stadium is a real poo poo spectator experience. Hooray!

Have tickets to the NZ Sri Lanka match. Will be taking my boy to his first cricket match.

Yeah Taylor is legitimately retarded but, despite the slight slump he's in at the moment, he's still a great player.

He had a pretty run last season in NZ, batted really well against the Windies. just had a bad time this season, which he seems to be compounding with some bad shot selection and spilling catches while fielding etc.

Ah yes let's go to the cricket with a white sheet over our heads, no way that can be misinterpreted. Perhaps we can also have a discussion about who wants some kfc at the time.

I like how the commentators have been spinning Guptil as being in the team as a specialist fielder instead of opening batsman.
It doesn't hurt that he has taken more catches than runs he has scored.

Lol sightscreen in low grade cricket. You are usually lucky if the pitch is anything more than a strip which was cut lower than the rest of the field.

You're right of course, there is (sadly) absolutely nothing unusual about a sports broadcaster being utterly incompetent at their job and the insinuation that she sucked any more dick than the likes of Mark Nicholas was uncalled for.

Her job is to do the human interest cutaway talk to fans in the crowd segment. She does that part as well as could be expected. Whether such segments have any place in the coverage is another matter entirely. But at least she isn't Craig McMillan or Mark Richardson arguing with Scott Styris.

We really need the World Cup to start so we can talk about that instead of arguing over this.

The rest of the team should be embarrassed as gently caress, though.
E: conspiracy theory corner: the rest of the team agreed to get out for gently caress all to try and boost his confidence. At least, I hope that's the case.

If a match doesn't count, do dodgy book-keepers still take bets on it? Do they offer money to players for making unexpected results happen?

Watching the score updates for the NZ-SA Match assumed the pitch must be a belter. Thinking NZ probably needed another 20 or so runs. Check the score just now SA is 32/4 in reply.
