i see. i'm trying to play blind, so maybe after i finish this run-through i'll check out how to sequence break. every time i've played this i've been really bad at bomb jumping, which i assume is part of it.

Bomb jumping isn't really that important unless you're really going out of your way to skip stuff. Wall jumping, mock balling and doing short charged shinesparks are the big things.

Because it's basically a fighting game and unlike most exploration games the fighting is fun and rewarding? I still need to bear Guacamelee but the first fifteen minutes didn't really sell me on it.
