just wanna say the library challenge they did 2 or 3 weeks ago had me laughing like an idiot well after it was over

the look on Sal's face when he pulls out the cymbals and says..."I'm not doing it"..then he does it and is so embarrassed he just exits the challenge himself

This isn't Middle Earth, Quentin. There aren't enough noble quests to go around.
I liked on the special how they talked about pitching challenge ideas to the network, and only get about 20% of what they pitched on the air.

Brinkmanship

I just watched the entirety of Murr's movie, and I am baffled at how many people were involved in that thing without any of them pointing out that it was a bad idea. The writing is awful, the acting is awful, the cinematography is awful, and the amount of effort put into it is just high enough to be uncomfortable while still low enough to not add any quality to the film. There MIGHT be one aspect of the film that was mildy amusing The host character turning, then later spinning, then later elaborately spinning to a second camera just to say one word before turning back to the first camera, but even that is tempered by the knowledge that Murr obviously thought it was much funnier than it was.

And I know most people will focus on the writing and the acting, but I can't emphasize enough how horrible the cinematography is.

At first I was just like ok yeah, this is embarassing, he got his friends to make a little movie when he was a kid. There's an entire generation that has movies like this on youtube for the world to see. But then he says he spent $30,000 on it :eyepop: Where did that money even go because clearly it wasn't into the movie.

Joe being a guy that usually will do almost anything unless somehow his wife comes into play is cute :3:. Like that one time he refused to say something bad about her.

I finally caught up with all the episodes. Hilarious poo poo.

Where do I see the special?

1. The Quinn play punishment was harsh since we never knew about his failed almost-marriage. (at least I didn't)

2. "Her rear end in a top hat tastes like peach cobbler."

3. For some reason that Hockey punishment is nightmare fuel for me :stonk:

4. Offical petition: Genitalia on Gummy Bears!

5. "Orson Welles was in his twenties when he made Citizen Kane...so what's your excuse?"

6. I just propsed to my girlfriend on the phone (:psyduck:) I'm so happy! *kisses everyone*

7. Finally something got to Joe! I like his wife :3:

8. I missed the powerpoint challenges....so good. "I was born 13 months late."

Brutal punishment for Sal in the latest one.

The fact that they made it into a full on loving Street Fighter level with Asian dudes gambling and a gong banger made it golden.

I feel like Joe gets the least amount of punishments, so I was pretty happy with this.

Murray feels like the best at doing punishments, so I'm glad he gets them a lot. The skydiving, piercings, and where they kept changing his pants are all super memorable and hilarious, whereas the only other one that really sticks with me as good is where Sal is tied up to a hand truck while Murray marries his sister.

It seems like joe always gets physical punishments. The only one I can think of that wasn't was the no toilet paper one

My favorite was when they shot Murr up with novocaine and made him give a talk to people about food.

The one where either Sal or Q had to sit in Starbucks and watch porn was great too.

I laughed all over again at the skydiving one when they revealed the whole ordeal on one of the specials. Murr is the best.

The punishment I can't get enough of is the one where Murr tries to push a charity before a movie and the movie that goes along with him is so ridiculous.

Also, Butterfly Crime Scene.

The one where they made Murr screen his lovely self made movie was so good. At times, especially when the critic was smashing him with brutal questions, he seemed genuinely uncomfortable and even insulted but then he'd laugh and self deprecate and make me feel ok for enjoying his misery.

Sal having to dig his phone out from the trash barge was pretty awesome. But my favorite by far is Murr having to interview his childhood crush Danica McKellar while wearing an American Flag speedo and covered in bronzer and baby oil.

Man, it felt like they taped that punishment eons ago (I think it was like March or April?) but it was well worth the wait. Murr and Sal seem to get the most entertaining punishments.
