- Lavi Lavi tries to duck out of the way of the fire, but his tail gets badly burned in the process. It probably needs to get tended to, but with an angry dragon in front of him, there just wasn't the time. Lavi tries to swing at the dragon with his white dragon scale sword, but manages to only graze the side of the beast. The sudden dusting of frost from the blade distracts Jaxarus just long enough for Ryu to get another headbutt in. (Saving early with Implacable) Save vs Ongoing Fire: 1d20 4 nope. Smite!: 1d20+5+2 9 Miss! 2d10+1d12+3 26/2 = 13 (Activating the Sword of Distraction, Ryu get's a free MBA. Due to initiative, Ryu doesn't get his +4 to hit, but he get's Lavi's +1 still. If the dragon doesn't attack me and I can safely use the Belt and not die, go for it. - Lavi Lavi's eyes widened as Ryu completely suplexed the dragon. Maybe he should have paid more attention to Ryu's training exercises instead of taking catnaps. Still, it gave him a chance to sneak a snack in the middle of the fight. "The battle's not over yet, let's keep up this pace!" Once finished, Lavi leaped up into the air to land on the toppled dragon, and thrust his sword as deep as he could. (Using BBQ on myself, and closing in for another smite, yaaay.) BBQ for self: 2d10+2+6 28  Smite!: 1d20+5+4+3 17 Miss! 2d10+1d12+3 21/2 = 11 (Would've been a hit, but I'm after Ryu in initiative so I don't think the dragon's stunned yet. Same for Moju.) At first Lavi gets on all fours, arching his back and ready to pounce on the paladin when a better thought comes to mind. Instead he stands up on his hind legs, licks his paw to slick his hair back, and steps forward. "Congratulations on your glorious victory Aurelion. The Dragon Slayers were very glad to assist you in this task." Lavi says, keeping his eyes locked on Aurelion as he steps closer. "Now, I do want to make sure we handle the delicate matter of your payment for our services, so that we can all be on our merry way and tell the world of your great...triumph." (Willing to let Aurelion go ahead and take the glory, but he's gonna have to pay extra for our silence.)

He's already started doodling depictions of the battle in the same style as the artwork in the tomb. "Oh, yeah, go ahead. It belongs in the Citadel, not with us anyway. Besides..." The felyne pats the stone chunk. "It's time for me to start making my own legend. Think this piece can fit neatly into our fireplace?"

- Lavi (Hey, sorry I haven't been around very much the past few days. Had a couple tests that I needed to study for.) Icon Dice: GGW and The Three: 2d6 6,6 1d6 2 (Welp. I don't want to take the spotlight again this time, so we'll figure something out.) After they returned back, Lavi dragged the severed wing into his workshop, trying to figure out what to do with it. An idea popped in his head, to use it to create some kind of flying contraption, but unfortunately he didn't have the means to do it. "I'm going to need another wing..." Then Lavi spent a great deal of time training with Ryu and his recruits, with new found inspiration to develop his fighting techniques after seeing Ryu suplex the dragon like it was nothing. Unfortunately his small size wasn't going to allow something crazy like that (unless it was a baby dragon), but he learned a few tricks in the process. Something to mix it up. The time the Felyne spent resting was peeling all of the molten gold off of the dragon skin. He didn't have very much use for that gold, but he did his best to take as much off as he could so he could sell it. Watching Ryu's endurance training gave him an idea to help give his friend a little extra edge. Ryu didn't have much connection with the Great Gold Wyrm, much more strongly connected with the silver dragons. With all of the gold peeled off of the red dragon's hide, Lavi fashioned it with a coating of silver. Crafting the Armor of Holding the silvered armor to present to Ryu, Lavi stops in place when he realizes that there is a dragon standing right outside their door, trying to come in. Nervously he looks down at the armor, and tries to hide it behind his back before the dragon gets any wrong ideas.

Once they're settled in and prying eyes away, his town gets more serious. "This job's going to be our toughest yet. Big scaly flying lizards are easy to track down, ordinary people are another story all together. And while it'd be awesome to win the tournament, it's not our job. Heck, we could even just throw the first fight and get ourselves eliminated if we don't care about the prize money. Wait, did anyone even mention prize money?" "Either way, it's no use thinking about here, we need to put these feet to work. I'll grab some dinner, and see what I can figure out on the other teams, and what their stories are." The felyne said, rubbing his belly as he followed his nose to the food.

- 'Ival' didn't wait for a chance to respond, they already knew Ryu was in town and soon they'd know he was with the man they were looking for. Instead he just used the moment to quietly walk out of the pub, with his tail literally between his legs. He would need to talk to Ryu in private to let him know the bad news and ask what the hell happened at Drakenhall. But at least for now he was out of the frying pan... ...and into the dwarven forge. "I have another plan too, though until we find out what happened to Willi, I suppose it can wait till later. I've got the scale, and word might have spread. I'm going to see if the Paladins here will be our eyes and ears, maybe even let me set a trap on the podium like Moju wanted. Unless we can stop that future from coming true, we can at least do something if it does." He glanced at Issac. "If I could borrow the ring, it might go better."

- Lavi 'Ival' nods, and takes a glance around to make sure that no one else is nearby. "Then first let me properly introduce myself," he says, taking off his mustache. "I am Lavi, heir to the Felyne Champion of the Great Gold Wyrm." He untucks his shirt to reveal the belt hiding underneath, with the gold scale glittering peacefully under the moonlight in it's slot. Covering it up, he smiles grimly. "Unfortunately, my team and I sneaked into the tournament to try and stop the very murderer you're looking for. The killer is an agent of the Black, and likely a shape-shifter, so don't talk or whisper about anything tonight with anyone else. However, I think our killer took the form of the headless man you saw, which is why..." Lavi gestured to the shadows to where Issac was lurking, "...I think we need a necromancer to take a look, and see if we what we can find out from the body. And don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't cause any trouble." (Spending one of my 6's with the Great Gold Wyrm to get the trust of these paladins.)

- "Hey!" Lavi shouts again, getting tripped and landing on his rear end again, proving once and for all that cats don't always land on their feet. As he struggled to get up, he glared at the lizard man. "Don't you run away from me, we're not done yet!" Using all the strength he had, he throw his sword at the lizard man. Throwing your sword ALWAYS works! (Smite!): 1d20+7+4+1 14 Miss! 3d10+1d12+4 In hindsight, throwing a massive chunk of bone and dragon scales with no aerodynamics was probably a bad idea. The sword only knicked the lizard man in the shoulder, and embedded itself on the ground dangerously close to Moju.
