So, I needed a part to connect a standard <INSERT ANY UJM MAKER> flip-up gas cap to my Royal Enfield, because the Enfield's stock gas cap is poo poo and literally broke apart and half fell-off and half fell-into-my-gas-tank. The thing is, standard Yamaha/Honda/Suzuki gas caps use one central hinge screw, and Enfield uses two. So, I walked outside with a set of calipers, came back inside and dicked around in solidworks for 20 minutes, then moved on to Simplify3D.  The future is now. I'm printing a bunch of jackstands in 1:10 and 1:20-24ish scale. Why? Because I feel bad having a 3d printer and also having it sit idle. I have this digital womb and it must be constantly moving. I'm printing them in batches of 8. What colors should the jackstand bases/shafts/pins be? I already have eight standard blue base/black shaft/silver pins. The colors I have are: Purple Blue Green Red Yellow Glow-in-the-dark (frosted white/green? Slimer color) White Black Clear blue Clear red Orange Grey If you want some, I have a few bucks to burn on small flat rate boxes. They'll be sent out, free-of-charge (or $beermoney per set of four/eight/whatever at klintor at gmail if you want, but really this is gratis because I'm bored as poo poo), whenever I feel like it. This is the style I'm printing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:685345 . Here is my current stack of filaments:  (Wrapped one 3rd from top on righthand side is glow in the dark) Here are some blue bases done:  Here are some failures:  (notice the one assembled one - for whatever reason these printed out without cups) Here is random other poo poo:   As you can see, they're rough, but I'm using it as calibration for my printer, so really it's no loss.
