I am surprisingly really enjoying this informative VLP of Best Farming "Simulation" Series Ever Game PSP Version Deluxe Ultra Plus. The last Harvest I played was Rune Factory 3, and it really had the problem of the bachelorettes looking way too young. Oh well, I think a couple looked adultish. I vote for Gwen because animal people are good people, also she looks like an adult, always a plus in the later Harvest Moon games. I was thinking of voting for Lyla since I woo'd the flower girl in the original Harvest Moon, but as you said, she's one of those people. I wish I could play the later Harvest Moons, but I'm just so annoyed by the requirement for strict time management, or at least it feels like it. The original one was easy since the town was just one screen, you didn't have to keep talking to everyone to befriend them, and of course the fact you could go ship things out in the morning, leave the farm in the noon, then return in the evening and work in the farm forever since time stopped passing after I think 6PM. As is in the later Harvest Moons I've played I keep missing sleep and feel so rushed since I want to work on the farm, talk with people, woo someone, fish, maybe slay monsters in the Rune Factories, etc' etc'... I never feel like I can do enough in a single day. Maybe I should try using an emulator and getting a time stop code or something.

My main point was that time management is a bitch in the later games, it feels like you need to be very precise with what you do and it's not fun for me. If somehow someone made a mix of all the best things from Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing it would be pretty awesome... Though it would have to be on the PC for me to be able to play it.

Awww... I think picking Alice was the wrong thing to do. You didn't mention it, but I bet it hurt that you had to pick 'I came to talk' rather than 'I came to laugh'.

Every time I hear that victorious music in the final scene of one of the "quests" I feel the urge to try and just take all those final scenes and put them in a video with that Chariots of Fire theme in the background throughout.

If you do make another HM/RF LP I'll probably watch it! If it turns out to be RF4 then I suggest Rube, because somehow the main protags of RF games always get suckered into working at the farm. Also you could call the farm Goldberg
