The Leafs are already down 2-0. I'm laughing too hard to see who else is playing. Let's do this.

Bernier makes a great stop on what felt like a full-length-of-the-ice 2-on-1

Bozak-JVR-Panik get lit up for the first five minutes of the game, so Horachek brings Kessel back in to stabilize them. Hmm...

Oh man we couldn't go two days without Zach Sill so Downie is a healthy scratch

achillesforever6 posted:Oh man we couldn't go two days without Zach Sill so Downie is a healthy scratch It must be the penalty that led to the only goal last night that made him sit. Edit: This is the second pens/sens game I'm seeing in two nights. I was at the WBS game last night.

We call Robidas-Holzer the "Hanifin pairing." It has multiple meanings.

Also Letang E: granted Detroit scored off that PP but Downie puts up a lot more points than Zach loving Sill, who himself has taken some dumbass penalties too

The Leafs start a good odd man rush and then Bozak skates the puck off any reasonable angle and fires it into Halak's glove.

I don't buy for a second that Downie got scratched because he took a dumb penalty last night, by the way. If the Penguins were that irritated by stupid penalties they wouldn't have signed Downie in the first place. "Johnston just couldn't bear to go two nights without Sill, and Comeau couldn't be scratched after his performance last night" is the correct answer Now why Lapierre can't be benched I don't loving know

Did the Leafs seriously just start that first PP breakout with a drop pass at their own blue line?

Haha, I love the replay of that Ehrhoff goal so much. I don't know how a guy gets so much time to tee up a shot like that outside of practice
