Wasn't there some project making a GBA-esque FE game as an actual standalone flash game or something so that they could get around hardcoded limitations? Whatever happened to that?

FE4 is a cool game with lots of noteworthy features but I feel like the core gameplay of most of the later FE games is objectively better. The 2nd generation thing is a fun idea but in real terms it's a huge "gently caress you for not metagaming" kick in the dick for first time players which is fairly inexcusable.
