Gillen/McKelvie's run on Young Avengers. It's mostly self-contained and doesn't intersect much with the broader Marvel Universe (outside of Kid Loki being turned into Sexy Teen Loki, I think?), so it's not so much a jumping-on point. But it's very good and beautiful and clever.

I definitely read these posts as bait when I first saw them - Asii talking about how great her role is, deliberately arousing curiosity about herself.
