The dev is right but I'm not sure what he was expecting with a $60 five hour game with the final boss being a reskin of a random enemy and also a QTE.

I didn't read any of this thread, and didn't know about this game until the OP. I wikipedia'd it and apparently it's 5 hours long for a $60 game. :tf2necknope:

Bioshock Infinite was about as long, yet a lot of people didn't care. Ok, maybe it was a bit longer because you'd have to retrace your steps through an area for bullshit reasons like the fight with the ghost.

People talking about length are missing the bigger picture: The Order is a cover shooter that's just a cover shooter. Gears of War was a cover shooter that also had a popular and nuanced multiplayer mode. Vanquish was a cover shooter that gave you insane toys to play with, including actual movement abilities. Uncharted was a cover shooter that was also Prince of Persia sometimes. Max Payne 3 was a cover shooter that was also MAX PAYNE. People are fine with pressing a button to hug a wall, so long as you give them something fun on the side, which The Order doesn't have.

that steak thing is a direct quote from the dev, who apparently has actually come from the shareware age review embargo lifted today and it seems to be ggetting such great grades as 3.5/10 and 5/10 the highest i've seen was 6.5 from ign and imagine: party babies got a 7.5 can't wait for the dev to rant about game journalism being evil and how nintendo power is biased
