My 3yo is learning Japanese thanks to red pandas and this thread! He started pointing at the Japanese characters for the panda names on Cattail Sapporo’s videos, so we started playing YouTube lesson and song videos for him and now he can write all of the katakana and hiragana characters. And now I can recognize Eita and Coco from their Japanese names as well as the English ones.

Red Panda Network started a YouTube Channel a few years ago but I didn't know about it until recently. Iwatatube has a memorial video today. I'm grateful that she made the thread because red panda pictures and videos have been a lot of fun to see during some dark times in the last few years. If everyone posted some pandas my 5 videos a week or so wouldn't clog the pages up so badly but I'm also not upset if people don't want to, it's just become a fun little hobby to share videos and pictures of cute animals.
