it's nothing like dead relatives, you can feel unwell as long as you're alive. i cancel when i feel unwell (which is a lot) and none of my friends have a problem with it if i give enough notice, because that's what friends do

my pet peeve is when someone reviews something after making extensive changes to it. like recipes, or electronics that can be tinkered with. goodness sake, just try it as-is first.

you don't like the way the amp sounds? ok, but sit with it and break in the speakers first before you make sweeping judgments about it and replace parts

my pet peeve is that i can't seem to get used to people dropping "to be" from sentences. like "the lawn needs mowed". i don't care that people say it, i just wish it didn't feel like i blacked out in the middle of the sentence or something.
