I was going to say that I'm actually enjoying this season, but when I think about it, it's not really the new episodes I look forward to each week, but rather Untucked and Katya's RuGrets. You see a lot more of the queens' personalities there. I would probably dislike this season too if I was just watching the show.

My favorites at this point are Katya, Violet and Pearl, but I don't think Pearl will be in the top 3.

I'm hoping for a joint win between Katya and Violet. They both really deserve it and they're so different that I think having both as winners would work.

Honestly, though, I'll just be happy if Katya is in the top 3 (and very sad if she's not!).

I'm going to keep watching, but beyond kind of hoping that Violet wins, I don't really care all that much anymore. Not even going to make an attempt to avoid spoilers.

Apparently tomorrow's RuGrets and RuFlections will be the last, but she's going to keep making videos, so we still have that!

Have you guys voted for Miss Congeniality yet? I voted for Katya, and I think she has a good chance of winning, but it might also go to Max, or possibly JDF.

Yeah, I agree with both of you. A lot of people have disliked this season, and I hope the producers have learned from their mistakes and will change those things for season 8. I just hope they don't change Untucked, because that was the high point of this season.

So first of all, I want to say how truly touched and probed my pussy has gotten with all of your encouraging words of support!!! And I want to describe some of my feelings about Drag Race, my elimination, and the whole experience.

I had an excellent time. It was the hardest thing I've done, and doing it in isolation without going completely insane or falling off the wagon is in itself a major victory, regardless of the outcome. So props to you know who for that (Me! and God, or whatever)

If you think for a moment that I am bitter or salty about getting eliminated last night, let me just tell you, you are in for a treat. A delicious wonderful savory treat completely devoid of any bitter, salty flavor. I am super proud of my time on Drag Race. OBVIOUSLY, I wouldn't have made a goddamn 11 episode web series called RuGRETS if I thought I did perfectly. No, of course, I didn't do everything perfectly, and as a creative person with unreasonably high standards and expectations for himself, I am hardly ever satisfied with anything I do. It's a blessing and curse--a curse, well, for my self-esteem, but a blessing, in that it constantly propels me forward.

As for the elimination, the fun of this show is that you get to talk about it, lament it, scream and shout about it from the mountain top, and hem and haw all the live long day about your fave and what you think should or should not have happened. You can call Ru crazy, say it was the season of bad decision making. That's all fine and good! I've done the same thing for 6 seasons!

If you want to know Larry King's 2 cents about it, or anything else, follow him on twitter (@kingsthings) and if you wanna know mine, here it is: I could not be happier with how the show portrayed me. That was the real me. For all this talk of shady editing, and I'm not saying people don't get a raw deal from time to time, I am blessed that I didn't. And as far as the challenge goes, my outfit was crappy and I lost that lip-sync. (Props where its due tho--my BFF character was off the chain) That's just my 2 cents, and it was obviously Ru's as well, and I certainly don't begrudge her for that. And I certainly don't have anything but real love, deep respect, and total affection and admiration for Kennedy for not only turning out one of the most sensational lip-sync performances of the entire series, but for being a real friend to me, a friend that I most certainly would not have ever made had I not been on the show.

I know she is a grown rear end woman, and doesn't need me to defend her rear end, but it breaks my heart to see her dragged on social media, because it betrays her talent, which is undeniable. We can both be talented, and she can win the lip-sync and I can still be amazing, which I am. I know this is all part and parcel of the reality TV competition game, especially at this point in the show when the viewers don't want to see their faves go home, but believe me, I've already won plenty because of this competition. And I have A LOT MORE IN STORE FOR YOU, you can drive that down to Fiorucci boulevard and sell it.

My problem with season 7, aside from too many group and acting challenges, is that the episodes felt really rushed. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it felt like they didn't have enough time to focus on anything. A bunch of choppy scenes happen, which feel more like previews than anything, and suddenly it's time for the runway and it's like... what? Already? But I haven't learned anything about the queens!

Maybe I'll feel differently about it when I rewatch the whole thing. At least Untucked was really good. I liked seeing the queens hanging out and chatting without any manufactured drama.

They put it back up, fortunately (except season 1 for some reason). If you want to watch it on Netflix you can use ZenMate to switch to the UK version, I'm pretty sure they have it too! They don't have Untucked, though.

I actually never watched Untucked because of that until season 7 (which is the first season I'm watching live), and now that I'm watching Untucked alongside season 4, I must say I really hope they keep the new format. The old format was entertaining and all, but I much prefer watching the queens just being themselves.

EDIT: Also, if you're not watching Untucked (general you, not you specifically), you're missing out on a lot! I barely even knew it existed until season 6 when they started referencing Laganja's freakout and I realized there had to be a whole lot more that I hadn't been watching. That's part of why I'm rewatching older seasons, to see the Untucked episodes that go with them.

Are you sure? Season 1 was there before everything was taken down last week, but when they put it back up, season 1 was missing. Is it just my Netflix messing up? Did you check recently?

Pretty much. In Untucked, she makes a lot of excuses ("I can't sew!" "I can't dance!"), looks down on the younger queens for being inexperienced, tries to instigate drama, and is generally portrayed as bitter. It's a shame, because she generally seems pretty cool.
Also, you should go watch Untucked right now, if only for the Katya/Ginger smoke break hijinks. :allears:

YESSS. Well deserved. I said earlier that I didn't care who won, but I'm really happy with the result.

But yeah, season 7 is not a good season, but Untucked made it slightly better. Also, if you're interested in seeing more of Katya, she made two YouTube series with an episode to go with each episode of the show, called RuGrets (in which she talks about regrets in the show and in her life - it's hilarious) and RuFlections (in which she showcases more of Katya as a character).

I found a supercut of the first 10 episodes of season 7 that has Untucked and all bonus scenes chronologically edited into each episode. I haven't watched any of it yet, but I think it will make for a neat viewing experience!

I also liked season 7, but I think it's because it was the first season I followed "live", and the first one after I had read a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff. I love all the season 7 queens, it's just that the show itself was kind of... weird? So you had to check out a bunch of extra stuff to find what they were actually like.
