I read somewhere the other day that at some point in negotiations, Netflix was trying to get Marvel to shorten the seasons to around 10 episodes because they felt the stories needed to be tightened up, but Marvel refused. I think Netflix was right, but I guess it doesn’t matter now that all of the shows are (or soon will be) cancelled.
