Renault had a year to upgrade the engine and they made it slower and less reliable than last year's. "More development" doesn't sound like the kind of thing Renault need.

darth cookie posted:When I was at the Melbourne GP they had the Qantas grid girls around the place and they were all reasonably dressed and did a good job wandering around the grounds chatting to people and otherwise being good brand ambassadors for Qantas and the Melbourne GP as a whole. I don't give two shits what the armchair morally outraged cardigan wearers think, I'd be more interested in what the girls think about having their jobs, and the opportunity to put the work experience down on their modeling and marketing career resumes and so on, taken away. "Thing is feminist because women are given money to do things". I'm sorry everyone's viewing experience would be irrevocably ruined by not seeing some quite-but-not-all-that provocatively dressed models for a couple of minutes over the course of a three day sporting event.

I thought we knew that the reason they ditched GvdG is that Bianchi got injured and couldn't race, as that stopped them getting Ferrari engines for free meaning they needed more money than GvdG brought in? Gutierrez isn't complaining because he's contracted to Ferrari I imagine, whereas Sutil and Guido had nowhere else to go.

Yeah, the teams will whine and whine if they choose poorly and blame Pirelli. Look at the outpouring of disgust from them when Pirelli told them that they couldn't put the tyres on the wrong way round any more because they were causing punctures.Dubs posted:Kill the Q3 -> starting tyre rule as well please.
