CPL593H posted:I hate to admit it, but he's kind of got a point about Jackass. But actually yes, the description of that bukkake video is absolutely obscene in the worst way. Not really, the two are categorically different. This is like saying that we get the same thrill from watching Buster Keaton hurt himself than we do from watching a rape play out. Maybe there are some people who do but not enough to make that not a ridiculous thing to say.

On the other hand I REALLY like corned beef sooooooo Corned beef is really damned good, but I can't imagine having such a fraught relationship with it.

C-Euro posted:I'm not a movies guy other than drive-by posting in this thread, but I thought it was alright. Then again if you've seen Cinderella the animated movie then you've pretty much seen this, other than Cate Blanchett being an awesomely bitchy stepmother. Also Helena Bonham Carter wearing something besides black. I didn't know Cate Blanchett was even in it. I'll probably see it cause I've seen pretty much every other Branagh-directed movie.

mr. stefan posted:Man, I was so afraid that VHS Viral was gonna suck rear end after the lovely glitchy framing story and the absolute dogshit first segment, but then the Hail Satan blimp and Dickeye: the movie happened and it saved itself from being extraordinarily awful. Still not all that great but it's totally worth checking out for a blind watch with friends. The segments themselves are wonderful.
