Jeebus, look at all that cattle in Yellow. Steak every night. Go Orange though. As far as a name goes, while a goon-based pun might be amusing, the random ones are fine.

Looks like we have only two real choices of where to place our capital. And we'll need to convince our eastern neighbor to allow us to exploit them. I mean, exploit their mineral riches.

Option Focus. Qak is in someone else's backyard, let's not go stomping there until we can bring the pain. That major might just conquer them before we can intervene, wasting all that investment.

Glazius posted:Is it better or worse to have actual territory as opposed to colonies? They both have benefits and drawbacks. Probably best to have at least one colony, so that you have someone to buy all your surplus goods. Also, they'll sell their surplus raw material automatically and give you a portion of the money so you don't have to muck about with the trade window. But if you want their stuff, you got to mess around with the trade window, whereas if it's your territory, it just automatically goes over to your industries.'

Thefluffy posted:Is it possible to starve them out somehow by taking every providence other than the capitol? Unfortunately not, soldiers are kept in fighting trim by nothing more than rainwater and pure love of country. Even in Imperiaism 2, where they have food upkeep, I think they don't disband when the food stores are cut.
