Note: This manga contains EXTREME fanservice. I should probably start why I decide to make a thread/recommend Prison School. Yes this manga has a lot of boobs and asses, however it's extremely funny and rather well set up with its jokes and gags. If you can look past the boobs and asses, this manga is entertaining as hell and definitely worth your time; as this is one of the funniest manga I've ever read to this day and not to mention the art is GORGEOUS. This manga didn't win the 2013 Kodansha Manga Award for best general manga for nothing! With the anime coming up as well, I feel that people should give this a shot.   The covers are extremely well done, and I suggest you look up some of them. About the Author:  Akira Hiramoto, which is more famous for Me and the Devil Blues, decided to write Prison School shortly after Me and the Devil Blues got canned. So at the time many people thought he just did this because he's mad that his manga got canned, but now it looks he's genuinely enjoying doing Prison School. He is very good at using cliff-hangers which is used very well in both manga. Me and the Devil Blues received the Glyph Comics Award in 2009. Me and the Devil Blues is very good as well and it got un-canned in 2014 so we are getting more of it! Plot Synopsis: Hachimitsu Academy, known for its strict academic standards and even stricter school code, is making a giant change this year. In the first time in school history, they are allowing boys to be admitted. As Fujino Kiyoshi and the four other boys starts their first day at Hachimitsu Academy he is shocked to find out that there are only five guys in the entire school, making the ratio of girls to boys 200:1. However the school has an unique penal system which involves a prison, where the name of the manga comes from, and soon the gang of boys are thrown in prison for a certain misdeed. It is up to them to plan the funniest (probably) school jailbreak ever and free themselves from their (un)fortunate fate. I won't write too much description for the characters or I think I will be spoiling some of the story. The Boys:  Kiyoshi Fujino - Our main character nothing out of the ordinary right?  Takehito "Gakuto" Morokuzu - An avid Romance of the Three Kingdoms fan.  Jouji "Jo" Nezu - He's not Ezio Auditore.  Reiji "Andrei" Andou - Yes he actually looks like that.  Shingo Wakamoto - He doesn't get a nickname.  The Chairman - He is probably the best character in this series, you will see in later chapters. The "Underground" Student Council:  Mari Kurihara- The president.  Meiko Shiraki- The vice president.  Hana Midorikawa - The secretary. Where to Read: This manga got licensed a few months ago by Yen Press. So far there are no released volumes yet so you could dig up scans by yourself. The Anime:  The anime is scheduled to be released in the upcoming summer season. At first people weren't being very optimistic because the manga art is just TOO good for this to be adapted into an anime, but with the trailer coming out it looks like the anime can do the art justice. So far no other information about the anime has been released; such as cast and studio. I think this is a funny comic I say this as someone who generally does not find most perverted Japanese comics funny This is less Tenchi Muyo or ToLoveRu and more Animal House by way of Cromartie High School

There's not enough emphasis of Me and the Devil Blues. Literally everything about Prison school seemed like "Okay you fuckers, my dream manga got cancelled because it wasn't 'mainstream', well then I'll give you exactly what you disgusting assholes want, and I will push every boundary I can out of spite and shove every kind of fanservice possible down your throats,"  It's literally the most blatant successful cash-in to finance a passion project I've ever seen and I wholly expect the author to secure a Devils Blue contract and then wrap up Prison School in a few chapters with a giant "gently caress you" to its fans.

It's pretty obvious to tell, if you read Prison School to at least the conclusion of the first arc, that he legitimately enjoys drawing this. Why does every boob in adtrw have to be prefaced with that you really hate boobs and butts but i promise this series is really not about that please i hate bobos and butts i just read and watch exclusively things that prominently feature them. I just try to ignore the butts really to appreciate the story behind it.
