im kinda surprised they didn't just announce park and rush vs taven and cavernario, losers have a hair/mask match then and there so they could have two anniversary show sellouts (this year and next year when they do rush/park). AAA booking clearly trying to gently caress with a hot program by the competitor.

I'm thinking either a) CMLL wants to build the feud over a year and book park exclusively next summer to keep AAA from stealing their thunder by having him main event triplemania again, or b) Park is holding off trying to get AAA and CMLL in a bidding war for his mask over the next year and generally just build up the value of his mask

I'm trying to imagine CMLL having long term booking plans and its not happening. I imagine LA Park tried to get CMLL to big against AAA and CMLL decided to run the tag team apuesta instead. CMLL has park on the Anniversario card so as far they're concerned, its all good. This the same company that fired LA Park for doing swears on TV and lost Dr Wagner as well(or it was the other way around, I can't remember), losing out on the chance to the Mask vs Mask match with Park and Wagner.
